Robert A. Minor, President and Founder of Texas International Resources, directs all aspects of the day to day operations, including the acquisition of new oil and gas leases. Mr. Minor’s extensive background in the oil and gas industry includes managing and training top personnel in sales/marketing and the structuring of several successful companies in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Throughout Mr. Minor’s career he has aligned himself with key personnel in every sector of the industry to ensure clients the best service, projects, and prices available. Mr. Minor’s duties include the formation and marketing of oil and gas issues, management of all personnel, and overseeing investor relations.
Don Shimmon is a licensed petroleum engineer whose oilfield career spans more than 40 years. Starting as a drilling engineer in California in 1949, he moved into successive positions as reservoir and evaluation engineer, chief engineer, operations manager, general manager, and managing director. After leaving California, career moves took him to Venezuela, Texas, Tunisia, the North Sea, Europe, and West Africa. Since 1983 he has worked as a consultant, first for six years in Italy as a project manager of a development in the Sicily Chanel, followed by assignments in Ireland, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, India, and Texas. Mr. Shimmon will assist in the evaluation of all leases and the proposed ideas of how to make each project most effective.
